thank you so much for the birthday wishes. i have the best family and friends in the world. hands down.
guess what? my companion wanted to give me breakfast in bed but we started our fast yesterday after lunch so instead she sang to me with a candle. felt like home basically. ha ha.
it`s been a successful week. couldn't have asked for a better gift.
we decided to starts the lessons from the basic with M. the other day we went to teach the restoration and it just so happens that her sister was there. it was amazing because M was able to explain and testify things she KNEW just couldn't recognize. We gave a book of Mormon to her sister (who lives out of our sector) and she left. We stayed for a minute more with M and shared DandC 8:2. ( YEA, BEHOLD, I WILL TELL YOU IN YOUR IND AND IN YOUR HEART, BY THE HOLY GHOST, WHICH SHALL COME UPON YOU AND WHICH SHALL DWELL IN YOUR HEART.) She said that she has felt those feeling of the spirit and she knew that all of it was true, the doubts came and now she's confused but she knows she can have those feelings again. We talked about the example of Joseph Smith and how he prayed with sincerity aloud, and invited her to do the same everyday.
Another investigator said she believes in the book of mormon and joseph smith! she began reading the bom and couldn't stop. she has so much potential! yay
We`re working hard with the members to get references and have lessons with them. There's a returned missionary in the ward that's helping a TON.
I love my mission. I couldn't spend my birthday any better way. I'm so grateful for my savior.
