que tal?

¿que tal?
Well we had cambios! I loved being companions with Hermana D and as we dragged her million-pound suitcases in the gravel road at 7am, in the pouring rain I wanted to cry just a little. But I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS TRANSFER. Hermana S is an amazing missionary. Although she only has 6 more weeks than me in the mission she a spiritual giant! I have already learned so much from her and can't wait to continue to learn with her this transfer.
We've already seen so many mini miracles. With the change I knew we needed to drop a few investigators that just really weren't progressing. It was hard because there's a lot weighing on you as a missionary and I want to do everything I can for these people! But there's only so much you can do. Anyway, it just gave us the opportunity to find new people and really focus in on the people that are willing to change. There are so many people prepared to hear this message seriously. Bueno, for example. Saturday morning we stopped to talked to this lady, at first she didn't seem so receptive but her 12 year old son came out and we invited them both to church, her son said he had been before and likes going to church (what 12 year old kid like 3 hours of church?). They invited us in, we taught, next day they served us breakfast and we went to church together! They live in santiago but come here a lot for the weekends.
The other day we taught the restoration to a couple with 3 young kids. Usually the lessons with them are a little crazy but as we shared the "first vision" the room fell silent. The spirit was so strong!
I feel so lucky to have opportunity like this alll the timmmme. There is no better way to appreciate the gospel than to share it. SHARE IT YOU GUYS. I doesn't matter if your 10, 90, girl, boy, married, single, busy or living in Mormon-ville. We all have the opportunity to share the light of Christ, and in turn our own will burn brighter.
Love you all
stay sweet h.a.g.s (have a great summer ??)

Hermana S and the pigs that live across the street!

Hermana S with investigators

Paige with her new companion Hermana S.
(we met her mom before her mission in the store. We wondered what the chances were
that they would ever be companion, we here they are!)

there is a group of dogs that follow us all the time.  But one that follows us all day long. He has a sprained leg and is named johnny. black and white. It's kind of hilarious.

Crazy Week!

What a crazy week!
I can officially say I have experienced the hardest day of my mission and the best day so far. The week started really rocky. Things were just not coming through how we wanted and Satan was just really rude, gettin' down on me. But by Tuesday night we'd changed our mind set and realized success was a choice we wanted to take. Wednesday came and we got our "kick-butt-attitude" on. We talked to literally everyone and taught everyone that would allow us to. And we found some incredible people! many asked if we would come back the next day!
Our problems were fixed, we still have little let downs but I`m learning to accept what happens. Come what may and love it, right?
I've always had an understanding and testimony of the atonement but I really felt it carry me through this week. I'm so excited and so ready to confront whatever might come through out the rest of my mission.
ÁNIMO! ÉXITO!
We're still teaching M and M and they're doing well. M doesn't have a baptismal date but we're working hard and they're progressing. We teaching another couple that a starting to progress! V and D, they're so cute. They have three kids.
I love my mission. Fur realz you guys.
WE HAVE CAMBIOS!!! Hermana D is leaving! ): She be going to Llanquihue, it's in my zone in Puerto Varas! I'm so sad to see Hermana D leave. I've learned soooo much with her. HERMANA S is coming! (mom, did ya hear that?) (Mom interjecting here...we meet K. S. in the store, we overheard her talking about her daughter in Chile. We couldn't help ourselves and asked her about her daughter. We wondered if they would eventually meet or even become companions! there you go!) I'm so excited, she seems like an amazing missionary. We're gonna work our socks off.
Little deets:
I saw lots of dead animals this week ): including a dog eating a cat. que rico.
We made s'mores in our fire burning stove the other day. De verdad que rico.
Today we eat SUBWAY! its new in Osorno. we came to Osorno to play volleyball with some other hermanas and ate there after.
Love y'all so freaking much.

So good to see you all yesterday!
it was like this weird mixture of feeling like it's been a life time and like i was there yesterday. can't explain it. but it was just what i needed!
We've really been trying to find those prepared to hear our message. lately we've found a lot of people and set lot of appointments but almost all of them fell through. Hermana D and I have really had our eyes opened to how we can improve. We've got a lot to work on but I know that the Lord is out here with us. This morning I read in Jacob 5. I think Jacob was inspired to write the chapter for all latter-day missionaries. I know the Lord is always with us. I know He does all He can, even when we come short of our potential. I know He cries when we cry and laughs when we laugh. He dedicated His life on earth to teach salvacion, then gave His life so it could be possible.
AND MY BABY BROTHERS ABOUT TO JOIN ME IN THE FIELD!! yayayayayay. serving a mission is honestly the best thing. it's too short too! I'm learned so much and it feels so good to testify of the Living Christ everyday. It's so crazy to think back about the way I use to see things compared to now. If not anyone else, serving a mission has changed my life for the better. I know my Savior better, I understand His doctrine more clearly and i have a deeper appreciation for all I have in my life. And I'M NOT EVEN HALF WAY!

(don't have time to write anyone else, hope this email acceptable ha ha)
love you all a million

Mother's Day

Mom's Mother's Day present!!!
It was so great to Skype Paige! She looked so good, she was so happy! We were ALL there, in the kitchen with the big screen TV so that we could all see her! We were able to talk to Paige for about 35 minutes. It would have been longer but the power went out, so our visit was cut short.
